Mies v.d.r. II

2002

The second in a series of three, looking at high rise architecture after time has taken its toll. The buildings have aged, become dirty; attempts at refurbishment have been made to ‘update’ the fabric of the buildings and impose current taste on the architect’s original vision.

Triptych: 180cm x 72cm overall.

Commercial cotton fabrics, cotton/polyester wadding (hand-dyed),
machine pieced. Machine and hand quilted.
