Colours which describe Australia. The searing heat of the red centre; bush areas, blue sky, vegetation, fire, tranquil turquoise sea and limitless sky can all be seen. The quilting refers to the paths and walkways, formed by animals and native Australians, which can be discerned when flying low over the outback.
