I have become interested at what lies beneath the veneer of life. Winding routes that lead to dead ends, direct roads which suddenly open up new directions. Surprising openings that present opportunities. What is said and left unsaid. The hand dyed wadding is both exposed and hidden. The visible quilted lines end with the threads left to hand like unspoken words, unfinished sentences.
